BRB Hostel Bangkok Silom

My husband and I have stayed at BRB Hostel three or four times so far. We usually stay about a week, our last stay was two weeks. We stayed in a few different ones until we found this one. It's been our go to hostel in Bangkok since. The double beds in the dorm room are so cozy, I love the sheets, blanket and pillows. It's so nice to go to sleep on cool cotton sheets when it's hot outside. There's air con and a fan in the room. The bathrooms are always clean and the showers are great. I have to mention that there are bath mats. There are never bath mats in hostels, so it's really appreciated. The lobby is comfortable, a great place to work or eat. The staff is wonderful, they're always kind and helpful. I love the neighborhood too, just half a block away down the alley is a morning market with everything you could ask for. There's a great coffee stand right on the corner. Two 7-11's nearby, which are essential for midnight snacks. There's a walking street across the road if you like nightlife. There are a ton of restaurants close by. And, two train lines right there. One of my favorite hostels for sure. We'll be back again soon.

The hostel was in a good location; at the end of a quiet street but in a lively area. There were plenty of shops and restaurants in the area and, importantly, a good launderette 100 metres away. Very good for transport connections from both airports and Ekkamai bus station (to Ko Samet). My room was not large, but good enough, and clean. The shower was good. Good wifi. Even though it was by the stairs it was not noisy. I would stay here again.

Ended up extending to my full 2 weeks in Bangkok here! Great location and decently clean. Not far from BTS, which is also close to Patpong nightmarked where there is shopping, food and drinks. Staff is nice and helpful.

Quite clean in general. Good air-conditioning. Small guest pantry is good that I could make a tea myself and BJ use the fridge.

Comfortable rooms, clean bathroom and and cozy bed. Place is well maintained and secure. Close to MRT and BTS Skytrain stations for travel. Its close to main road but is silent enough for good sleep and work environment.
